Tom KreschStudent Affairs began in earnest the work of developing a comprehensive assessment plan during the fall of 2015. In the Spring of 2016 with the guidance of an Assessment Fellow Dr. Molly Marnella, division wide Learning Domains and Student Learning Outcomes were developed as the initial step in the process. Our work continues, the formation of a divisional assessment committee charged with approval and final review of assessment projects. Professionals in the Division of Student Affairs have had a rich and long history of serving Bloomsburg University students, however, there has not been a tradition of capturing the success of their work. Our self study process forms the basis for a culture of assessment in the division. It charts a course of evidence and helps frame the important work we perform. Student Affairs assessment informs the greater campus community of our commitment to student learning.
